The Network for Public Health Law and MOCPHE have partnered to provide public health law trainings and legal technical assistance to local public health agencies in Missouri. On February 6, the Network led a training on the basics of HIPAA and its application to local public health agencies. Topics include entities subject to HIPAA, what constitutes protected health information, HIPAA hybrid entities, and the requirements of the Privacy Rule.
